Hi, I’m Rahul. I grew up in Mumbai, lived in Tokyo from 2011 to 2015, then spent about ten years between Berlin and Hamburg. In summer 2025 we moved to Frankfurt. Somewhere between travel, study, new languages, and the family we have now — that is where this starts.
My wife Juliane is from the Palatinate Forest. She has travelled widely, spent a year in Mumbai, and has been going back to India every year since 2012 — it has become her second home. We met in Berlin in late 2016.
Together we opened two yoga studios with a simple idea: yoga for real people and every kind of life — not handstand photos for Instagram. That spirit lives in Nest Studio Frankfurt, which we opened in fall 2025, and Pure You Yoga in Hamburg.
We married in 2023 — once in Mumbai, once in Copenhagen — when the timing finally felt right. Milan arrived in May 2024, and suddenly everything got simple. We just wanted time with him, and to share those moments with the people we love.
I am 38 now — a dad, a software engineer turned product manager. After nearly twenty years building digital products for companies, I still build things that move me, and people like you. The family-photo apps we used barely knew what a family album is, at depth — or what it should be. So I started Nestory for us. From here it can enrich your family and close friends.
